Only 1 made it to freeze
I know any making it to freeze is good but 15 fertilized and we still had 14 going on day 3. 12 of the 14 on day 3 were good quality. We transferred 2 on day 5 and there were many still going. So to only have 1 frozen is upsetting. Now I loose one of my FET that I have insurance for. Basically transferring the 1 frozen is my last chance.
The one I have frozen is grade 2. I'm really trying to remain hopeful that the 2 inside of me will stick but its hard to remain hopeful when most of my embryos didn't even make it. Anyone only have 1 to freeze or none and still get preg from their fresh cycle?
1 more week until BETA....

Don't worry about that too much. Just continue thinking positive. You know my experience and only 1 made it to freeze both times. I don't think it's uncommon and I don't think you should lose any hope for the 2 great ones you have sticking in you right now

Only 1 made it to freeze
I had like 15 eggs fertilize. We transferred 2 and they were keeping an eye on 3 of them. Needless to day, ZERO made it to freeze. I am now 38 weeks pregnant.

Ohhhhh and I had none to freeze and have dd. that's not vindictive of the quality of the ones they transferred or whether not they turn into a healthy pregnancy.
On the other side you had some to freeze from another cycle and that didn't result in pregnancy either.

Only 1 made it to freeze
For my first IVF I had 28 eggs, 18 fertilized..we transferred two and NONE made it to freeze. Didn't matter because one of the two we transferred is DD
For my second IVF I had 29 eggs, 19 fertilized and only ONE made it to freeze. I know it sucks but hopefully you don't need it. Good luck

We had 5, 3 made it to transfer...none made it to freeze. I am pregnant with twins. Sticky dust for the two inside you.

Try and stay positive and focus on the 2 you h ad to transfer (i know it must be hard) but you still have alot of hope and I am sending you tons of sticky baby dust!

Thanks ladies. Your stories help! Its very hard for me to stay positive with all I have been through, but I'm trying. I'm just bummed about not having more to freeze bc I loose that FET cycle with insurance. I guess reality is settling in that we are running out of options.

I'm so shocked that one made it to freeze but understand that SIRM labs have a different quality and rating scale than other labs. Some other places may have still have frozen poorer embryos. I'm sure they gave you the best of the bunch and know you are doing all you can do at this point! I'm rooting for you. Stay positive and let's see what the next week brings! Very excited for you!!!!

I know I'm shocked too. This IVF I had the most fertilize and the most still going on day 5. I even did the HGH. It just sucks bc now I know this and my one lonely frozen embryo are it. Then I'm done. I'm having a bad day so thats not helping either. Oh and I just gave myself PIO for the first time. Thanks for your good wishes. I know anything can happen but based on my history its hard to be optimistic. At least I have done everything in my power.
How are you doing? Did you have a follow up with Dr. T? What are your next steps? I know you are on a break for a little while.

I totally get it. It's normal to be cautious. Hang in there, beta is coming soon.
I have the option to do IUI but I am breaking for a bit so DH has his varicocele surgery to give our last IVF it's best chance. Thanks for asking. This all sucks. What did Dr. T say about why so many didn't make it to freeze?

I'm okay. Not having a good week so thats annoying. I just spoke with Leslie via email and she told me how many froze. She said if I had any specific questions to email Dr. T. I'm just not in the mood bc its not like its gonna change anything. During ET he said 2 looked decent that they were watching and there were a bunch of other ones that were behind. I think a lot of them were early blasts and they freeze expanded blasts. I have no luck.
I think the surgery your DH is getting is the right step. Before you do IVF 3 you wanna make sure everything is the best it can be. Does Dr. T think IUIs can work for you guys? I know after this I will have no IVF coverage but I will still have IUI coverage but for us I think its a waste. I did IUI and never got preg.
