Oops... Basic Star Application
I was just going through my mail and saw that the Basic Star application is due on or before January 4th (oops!). Anybody know if I send it same day delivery, if that is acceptable or do I have to go there (which I can't in all likelihood do)?

Just called and they said this is OK if anyone is in the same boat. They did recommend sending it certified return receipt.

Only if you want to save $$!
I just called to check on my application. I'm town of Hempstead in case anyone cares...and sent in my app in Nov and have heard nothing. They said nothing will be affected until October 2010 school taxes...and if you hear nothing its a good sign apparently.

I printed out the form online and sent it in today. (I'm in Town of Islip). All I needed to send was this form right?

You may "should" be able to bring it to your local town hall
every town is different so call before you would go
