opinions needed from my girls
OK; so DH and I just booked a flight next month to AZ for his cousins wedding in Phoenix. We were planning on starting TTC next month. AF is expected around the 29th of this month, and usually I O around the 12th. The flight is on the 14th and we come home the 18th. So, here's my question. I heard traveling and time difference, etc. throws off O and stuff, is this true? We're staying at family's house too  so I don't know how the situation will be with trying to BD. Opinions...??

It is very true...
It will likely throw off your cycle - though I guess it could NOT happen...
Bring TONS of OPK's - but don't change your plans...you can't stop living your life for TTC'ing..

it could mess up your ovulation...but you should ovulate before that...unless you O late...
just go about your normal BDing days and let things happen!!

ok. so yeah, maybe ill go to walgreens or something and pick up a box or two for while im away. I should O before I go away, on the 12th, so we would just have to be BD every day which brings me into when Im there... * if I O the same time as this month... So, I'll need OPK's and PT's!!

well if you think you should O before you go away... you should be fine...
just make sure you BD before you actually O.. when you get the positive!

yeah I started taking them just to get used to them even though we werent officially starting to ttc... and I got the 2 lines on the 12th; yesterday.

no no no no no - i mean it may not affect you. It affects MOST people - but there's always that chance you are the ONE it won't....ya know?
Just be mentally prepared for a long cycle...that's all..

Its VERY possible you will not be affected. When I got pg with DD, I was on our honeymoon and ovulated like clockwork and got pg.
