OPK Question (kind of silly)

I swore I wasn't going to use OPKs but I think I want to try an OPK this month just to make sure I'm Oing and I am detecting it correctly with my CM. Problem is I have to pee literally like every half hour.Chat Icon There is no way possible I'd be able to hold it in for 4 hours unless I drank nothing all day. Is there an OPK that doesn't require you to hold it in for so long?

Re: OPK Question (kind of silly)

I have the EXACT same problem! I wanted to used OPK's to see if I was ovulating last month and was able to hold it in for a few hours. I tested at around 3 in the afternoon and I got my Chat Icon .

Re: OPK Question (kind of silly)

I just did it right when I woke up every morning- I left the cup on the top of the potty- so that I would remember (when still being 1/2 asleep! ha ha)... that shoudl be 4 hours at least! (I think the OPK even states that the morning is usually the best time. Mine showed up very clearly for 3 days, so I know it worked!) (I still got a BFN this month- but the OPK worked! Chat Icon )

Re: OPK Question (kind of silly)

I think you can do it any time of the day, but that the hormone the OPK is testing for will be most present 4-6 hours after you wake up so that's why the afternoon testing is recommended to get the most accurate results.

If you want to try to test in the afternoon, try not drinking anything after breakfast and see if that helps.
