Oral Surgery

Sorry to post on here instead of on the health board.. but I was wondering if anyone had wisdom teeth removed and used sweet air instead of being put out? I have surgery tomorrow and I am a hot mess. Chat Icon

I'd love to hear any stories to help me make my decision. Thanks

Re: Oral Surgery

I was put out and didnt feel a thing. I had all 4 pulled at once and I was eating normal soft food that night. I know everyone is different but I wouldn't worry and I would say go for being put out Chat Icon

Re: Oral Surgery

I had all four pulled.

You'll be swollen and maybe even a little sore but nothing that an advil/aleve can't help.

Re: Oral Surgery

Not to add to your anxiety, but lots of people have AWFUL reactions to going under. I am one of those and I found out when I had wisdom teeth pulled. For 3 days afterwards I couldn't keep any food down and I couldn't figure out why because they never told me that could be a side effect. Now I know for when I have surgeries that I need anti-nausea medication in my IV.
