Re: Oral Surgery? Please share your stories!
I have had 3 oral surgeries. They were all when I was younger, but I still remember them! The first and third surgeries was in the oral surgeon's office and I was knocked out. I had 4 teeth pulled during each one. I don't wake up well from anesthesia, so that was a bit of a mess, but that's my body's reaction, and there's nothing that can change that! The second surgery was in the hospital because I was having 11 teeth pulled (7 baby, 4 adult), and it was apparently too much to handle in the office. Recovery was rougher from that, but I was home the same day.
Honestly, it's scary - but it's over quickly and the recovery time is pretty minimal! Trust me - I've had 19 teeth pulled!!

Re: Oral Surgery? Please share your stories!
I had oral surgery a few years ago to have a bunch of teeth removed. They gave me the "twilight" sleep. I dont remember a darn thing from the surgery, I just remember waking up to my husband sitting next to me and I was crying. I was fine, but I couldn't stop myself! I had to text DH from my phone to tell him I was fine I just couldn't control the crying. Once I got home I took one Vicodin, slept for a few hours and woke up okay. I was sore and needed to take Motrin and eat mushy foods for a few days, but all in all it was 100 times better than I made it out to be in my head!
