The only "complaint" I have.... Larry & the friend? Let's tell everyone they've been cheated on. Together. Holding hands. Because it's totally good news & a happy occasion. I found it weird.

#1 - agree with the above. Come on guys, really?
#2 - I can't stand Chapman. She is so self involved and whiny. She was so mean to Soso, meanwhile it wasn't that long ago Chapman was the newby and looking for a friend. I am hoping for even less Chapman and even more of the supporting cast in Season 3.
#3 - I hate the Bennett and Daya scenes. I am interested to see how things play out, but the sappy music they play whenever these two are near each other irriates me. Also, how do all the guards and all the inmates not know because they are pretty obvious at times!
#4 - Loved all the backstores - Tastee, Lorna, Poussey, Crazy Eyes
Can't wait for Season 3~!

i JUST watched the last episode... was doing my best to stretch it out.
i was laying on the sofa and jumped up when i saw rosa hit v. loved it! hope she evades the cops long enough to die outside of prison.
i think v got off too easy. would have preferred to see her suffer somehow... maximum security or solitary.
i also liked the whole "lesbian conspiracy"... too funny.
like everyone else, i'm loving those back stories.

I watched the first 8 episodes and I gotta say I have been bored this whole season!!
After reading this, I see it does pick up luckily. After the episode when Piper got furlough I was ready to throw in the towel.
I miss Alex! And I really hate Vee with a passion.

Am I the only one who thinks Alex is just straight up nasty? I find it hard to look at her. The bad hair dye job, the eye makeup, tattoos... it all combines to gross me out. YUCK. And now that i know she is a scientologist...ehhh
Agree about Rosa...and V. Great scene. So glad to see V's team band up together against her.
Agree with PP about Larry and the friend. I was first put off when they told her husband together.... and then Piper too. Come on. Ridiculous.

i love him too! i think he looked great when he's with his band.
as far as two inmates escaping... the first one was on flores's watch. technically, he's only had one lol
i hope he really makes some changes for the better... for his sake more than anything else.

I finished watching a few days ago, I loved this season!!
I loved all of the back stories on the inmates - I was surprised with Lorna/Christopher's story.
I was SO happy with Rosa and the way the season ended.
Now...when does season 3 come out??

Loved this season!!! I hate the Larry/Polly storyline... I just found it too far fetched and mismatched. I also didn't like the ending with Vee. I keep reading articles that imply that she may not be dead so who knows!
I loved Poussey this season. Loved her back story and how she was the only one who had a sense of normalcy within the prison and saw Vee for what she was. Loved Rosa too. And I was very shocked by the Morello/Christopher story! Didn't see that coming at all.
ETA: Also...how can we not mention Red getting slocked by Vee?!?! When she made the "truce" with Vee, I was yelling at the TV not to trust this b*tch!! lol

I found this hard to believe. I don't think Red would have trusted her that easily.
After season 1, Taystee and Poussey were my favorite characters and after this season, I love them even more, especially P.
I don't think you are supposed to like Chapman. If you read the reviews and the recaps online, the general consensus seems to be that she is just the vehicle that allows the viewer into prison to meet all of these other characters.
Morello's backstory was amazing. She's an incredible actress.
The actress who plays Vee is also an incredible actress (Shambala Green from the early Law & Order episodes if anyone remembers her!)

DH and I watched seasons 1 & 2 this weekend - we only left our apartment for a few hours  so addicting!
When Poussey was in the restaurant about to shoot that girl's father, I was tearing up when her father hugged her and pulled her away trying to hide to gun. I don't know why, that scene really got to me!
I LOVED the ending! I hated V so I'm glad she's gone. When she had AJ killed, that sealed the deal for me...that was so messed up!!
On a side note, Daya lives in the building next to my cousin in Brooklyn and he said he approached her when he saw her and said she is SO sweet and not at all bulky like they portray her in the show.

You are not alone! Even in the flashbacks when she's supposed to look better, I don't think the hair and the pencil thin eyebrows are doing her justice.
And YES on Caputo, that was such a surprise how endearing he became and how I was rooting for him, and worried for him by how much he was gloating, thinking the rug was going to get pulled out from under him any second. I think that will be a great storyline for next season, someone who *wants* to do good but also has to play games, that internal conflict he'll have.

I follow most of the cast on Instagram and maybe with the exception of Boo, they are all very good looking. Even Crazy Eyes!
Crazy Eyes should get some kind of award for her performance this season. She's so convincing and you just feel all of her emotions right along with her. I loved that they all banded together to save her but it killed me when she was alone, crying with the Uno cards. Ugh, right in the feels.

So I finished last night, it was SOOOOOOO good! I was SO happy with the finale, I felt like it left me wanting more but not hanging on for the next episode. I loved the nun serenading scene, the back stories (especially Lorna Morello, the girl that was going to get "married). I am dying to know the story behind Soso!
I'm happy that Figueroa is finally out of there but really was hoping for better from Caputo. When he told Bennett to not say anything else about Daya, I was SO disappointed.. like here we go again...
I also really loved the growth of Healy and him really trying to do better. I felt so sad for his situation with the wife. I feel like he really tries and always gets screwed.
Overall, a great season!

YES!!!!!!!!!! I agree. He is definitely a cutie and she skeeves me.
I loved this season with the back stories. I really REALLY disliked V, hoping that is the end of that storyline for good.

Nope, for me it's the crazy arched eyebrows that weirded me out.
Just finished the last episode tonight. Loved Season 2!! Piper aggravates me so the less I see of her, the better, but I loved all the backstories!
I love the way Poussey and Taystee play off of each other so I was sad that they were estranged for most of the season. Thank goodness Taystee (and the other girls) finally came to her senses! I HATED V!!! How was she sent to a minimum security prison?! I was so happy when Rosa ran her down lol.
I have to say, I was a little disappointed that Mendez/Pornstache only lasted a few episodes. He was annoying as hell and I hated him season 1 but he was definitely entertaining!
The whole babysitting nuns thing was hysterical, loved those scenes

I saw a headline somewhere (I can't remember where of course) saying next season will feature more of Alex and less of the Larry/Polly storyline. I haven't met a single person who is upset about this. Now that Larry and Polly are together I see no need to ever see their storyline again (I didn't really want to see them this season either but they were there unfortunately)
