On a side note, Daya lives in the building next to my cousin in Brooklyn and he said he approached her when he saw her and said she is SO sweet and not at all bulky like they portray her in the show.
I saw some pics of Daya and couldn't believe how small she is compared to how they make her character look!

What a disappointment.
Enough of V, enough of the Whiney CO...
Crazy Eyes was like a cartoon character...and not enough Piper. I like 1st season Piper and then we barely saw her.
That billboard outside Penn is so annoying - it makes them all look like jokes.
The back stories were the most interesting parts of this season.

I finally watched all of the episodes! I am glad that Vee got hit by the car. She was so manipulative, I got mad every time she got a second chance (like when Red almost strangled her) and got people to trust her again. Well I guess Alex is headed back to prison now that she violated her probation w/ the gun. I liked seeing all of the character's back stories. So glad Figeroa finally was ousted and how Caputo played her..Can't believe we have to wait another year!

Orange is The New Black- anyone finished watching season 2?!
The actresses are AMAZING in so many ways. First off, it's written so well that we either fall in love or hate them. The actresses make this so lifelike that we believe them 100% I loved to hate and mistrust V. She's an amazing actress, and I'm convinced that her part was written in so that we could love Tasty and see how her "crew" is truly her family. omg She's so incredibly smart and detail oriented. I also love how P can see through anyone.
Piper is a bad person, and i think she's starting to realize it. I keep shaking my head, thinking, what will she get herself into now?
I absolutely love Daya with Bennett, and I think she's gorgeous! I just hate hate hate how their story line is stuck in Neutral and goes nowhere. They need to help this one along.
The cheesy flashback to Rosa's younger self escaping in the van was so cheesy... ugh, that scene could have been left out, although I totally called that she was going to hit V with the van. Am I the only one who feels bad for Caputo? I know his whole focus is to keep his job, not caring about the inmates, but somehow, I am rooting for him to do better than that nasty Figueroa.... ugh!
Oh, and great job making us uncomfortable, Polly and Larry! Great actors can skeeve us out. And they do. *shudder*

I didn't see it as a flashback to an actual event but more of her reliving her greatest moments in her head. I thought of it as a more emotional flashback to her healthy self then a flash back to an actual event. I got the feeling that she was arrested after robbing that second bank that was not cased.
I got the feeling that she was feeling like her old self in that moment which makes me love that scene. IMO though.

I just finished last night....holy crap! I totally knew Miss Rosa was going to plow down V. V was the worst and I loved how everyone turned against her. Poor Crazy Eyes. I loved seeing Tastey and Poussey back together again.
I was dying when Caputo told Fig after she performed her act that the papers were filed already...oh SNAP!
I am creeped out by Polly and Larry together. There is zero chemistry between them.
I hated all the scenes when people got beat up.....Poussey, Red (twice!). I was so upset watching those, especially the scene when Red got attacked that first time.
This show is the best. I can't wait for the next season!

I did like it but felt season one's ending was so much better. I hope we don't have to wait another year for the new season.
ETA I also hated that V had the book Fault in our Stars. The book came out in 2012 and Piper was in Jail in 2002 ... Do not love that they don't still to that time frame with certain things.
I believe the crime was committed in 2002 or 2003, but she is serving time in jail in the present day (2014), so it would make sense that she has a book from 2012.

I felt the same way. It actually brought a tear to my eye 
I finished the season. The last two episodes make the whole season worth watching!

I follow most of the cast on Instagram and maybe with the exception of Boo, they are all very good looking. Even Crazy Eyes! 
Crazy Eyes should get some kind of award for her performance this season. She's so convincing and you just feel all of her emotions right along with her. I loved that they all banded together to save her but it killed me when she was alone, crying with the Uno cards. Ugh, right in the feels.

Online says she served in 2004.
The TV Piper is in jail present day, not 2004 like the real life Piper. The show deviates from the book in many, many ways. If you recall, Piper had her iPhone with her when she surrended to Litchfield. The first iPhone didn't come out until 2007.
