Organic chicken smell?
I bought some organic chicken thighs for the first time and both packages had a weird smell. I wasn't sure if they spoiled or if organic meats have a different smell because they are all natural or whatever. Any insight?

I have never noticed a bad smell - it could have gone bad -i.e. if the store didn't keep it cold enough.

That would definitely make me nervous. I would either call the store or the company and inquire. I recently had an issue with a package of Purdue and they were really nice and sent me a refund.

This happened to me too...
first time I bought organic chicken I opened it up and it smelled.
Chicken should NOT have a smell. When I opened the other bag I bought it had no smell at all.
Be safe and throw it out or go back and return it.

It shouldn't have a smell. Return it & get a refund. Organic is expensive!!
