I do not have a problem with other people driving my DD. I figure I have as much of a likelihood of getting into an accident as anyone else. Everyone has their "thing" that they are overprotective about.
Bottom line is you have to do what makes you feel the most comfortable.

If the driver has a valid drivers license, I would let them drive the kids. Wouldn't bother me. I can't be in control of everything all of the time...
I have just the same likliehood of getting into an accident as anyone else, I'm not *that* special, although I am *pretty* special.
ITA...an accident can happen with anyone, myself or DH included.
