Our Hardwood Floors - DONE (UPDATED 8/27/07)
Well they are all installed and are being sanded and stained today and poly over the next couple of days. They said we can walk on them by Saturday! We can't wait for them to be done. 
OUR NEW FLOORS!!! We went with a Maple stain on Red Oak wood with a Satin finish!

Thanks!  Well we hired a general contractor that subcontracts everything out. There have been a couple of bumps with them, but everything in the end as of last night is looking good. They have addressed all the small issues we had.

They look great. We have the same house layout (hi-ranch, right?) and I'm looking for someone to do our entry steps that go up and down.

Yeah, we can't wait to see how the 2nd coat looks tonight and then the poly. And yes, we are getting a wood railing Scott! Gone with that iron railing. Now the house is going to feel like new to us.

BUMP! Updated with finished pics of flooring. Now everything feels a lot more clean. The old dirty is starting to go away. Now we just have to start painting all the rooms.
