Our Lancaster/Dutch Wonderland vacation/Review ( and tons of pics of course)
We stayed at the Homewood Suites by Hilton in Lancaster
LOVED THIS HOTEL!We got a One bedroom King Bed Suite...it was VERY clean. No bath tub , but HUGE shower , 2 Flat screen tvs, DVD.. HUGE HUGE Bed, They gave us 8 feather pillows, a down comforter, linen sheets...feather bed topper on mattress! Kitchen hasa full fridge, stove top, microwave, dishwasher and sink.coffeemaker, toaster, with coffee every day , soap, sponges, dishes etc..anything you need is there.
Free WiFi too. Living room area with fold out sofa bed.
The room rate includes breakfest every day which is drinks, cereals, doughnuts, fruits, yogurts, bagels, breads, eggs, bacon, sausage , make your own waffles and usually scones, or hash browns. 24 hour coffee/tea station
And you also get mon-thur a dinner reception ( was pork tacos one night, rice and salad bar, hotdogs, salad and somethign else one night, and hot wings etc another night. )
They have an indoor pool.
Dutch Wonderland- Great place! So clean and great for toddlers! Seems like the 2-10 crowd is th best for wat they offer. We saw one show, the aqua stadium dive shop and it was really cute, we liked it a lot. Noah was NOT having a good day (s) ..He went on a few rides during the 3 hour preview the night before, and NONE the next day, but he played games, did sand art, played on some other smaller attractions...and we hope to go back once he is older , and the girls b/c it really is a NICE place. The water park area is adorable and fun!
Hands on House- this place was so cute, a little $$ since yyou have to pay for the parents too ( $7 each) but had Noah not been in his "mood" we coudl have spent a lot of time there. I wish we had something like this here in NY. I would defintly take a toddler there!
Strasburg Railroad- A lot of fun! The train ride was cute, and they have a lot of other activites for kids to do, stores etc...We spent a while there. Not too expensive either.
Choo-Choo Barn - LOVED this place. Amazing amount of miniature trains set up. It was a quick visit, maybe an hour, but I thought worth the price, I could have looked at it all day, we all liked it a LOT.
Toy train musuem- Similair to choo choo barn, but ehhh...too " musuem like" for the kids, I dont think unless your kids LOVE LOVE LOVE trains its a must do at all.
Rockvale outlets - DH took Noah to chuck e cheese while I took the girls shopping. Then they met up with us. Lots of stores and a playground in each of the parking lots ( gated) for the kids, which helped a lot when he got bored!
Kitchen Kettle Village- Nice place, we spent all day there, a petting zoo area, play ground, lots of stores, buggy rides, places to eat. We had a good time here.
Now for some pics
Railroad Pics The girls
Thanks for looking
And one more quick one... The twins Turned 9 months old today! Getting TWO to sit still is not easy!

We went for 5 days, 4 nights. We had plenty of time, and we wanted to do a lot of sites. Plus my Dad and sister live in Lancaster and so we were visting them as well. We were going to do Hershey as wel, but DW was a bust for us and Noah, so we didn't.
Were defintly gonna try DW again next yr. It really is a cute place with a lot to do. And that whole area has TONS of family activites within driving distance to each other.
