Our TMI day- A Kelly Story of epic proportions

FYI: I brought this story back because they redid the bathroom at this store and it brought back this memory..................................



I have been looking for a baby item we used in NJ since we got back to LI. I was desperate to hit a lot of stores today in hopes of finding it. After buying a few things I was in need of using the facilities. I brought DS in the shopping cart. This bathroom is oddly shaped and I couldn't fit the cart through the handicapped stall door.

So, there was a small hallway to a small stall. I figured I'd wedge the cart in front of the stall and hold his hand while I went. I am, in fact, super mommy and can do that.

I was stretching to reach his hand, but then began to realize I was peeing all over myself and not in the toilet. I freaked and tried to back over the toilet, while letting go of DS.

Typically, not a problem.

But the unaware horror of a slanted floor suddenly took the cart, with DS, down the hallway. So, I lunge out of the stall, still peeing. He didn't roll far, but I didn't know that at the time.

So, I cleaned myself up as DS giggled at his fun ride. I was so flustered after and must've appeared that something was wrong. But I was determined to find that item for DS!!! We got out of another store in the same plaza and I opened my purse to give DS a bottle. I then went to take a drink of my Diet Pepsi when suddenly a man appeared next to me, identifying himself as security. He asked if I just stole that Diet pepsi. I had to show him the receipt from the previous store, but he just kept looking at me accusingly. Dude, I just peed all over myself, I'm going to look weird.

So, if you ever need to use the bathroom at Kmart in Bohemia, have a backup plan!

I am so glad i read this b4 i went to bed. The secutity guard must have nothing better to do than annoy a mother who just PEED on herself with a baby ... people

I think we need to put KMart on the list of "last resort" bathrooms. In that shopping center you have BRU and a bookstore. Lately, when I arrive in any shopping center, I scan the stores so I know which one I will select when I need a bathroom. . Bookstore and BRU bathrooms would trump Kmart, KWIM.

I used to live in the apartments right next to that. If you were 4 years earlier I would have let you use my bathroom. I might make you leave your shopping cart outside but the baby could come in. .

Something I would do except I would have made the security guard feel "REALLY REALLY SMALL" for even considering the thought that I was stealing. I would have called the Manager, etc... Or kill him with my "eye look".

Yep. Stupidity on my part. We had already been in BRU and my car was parked outside of Kmart. I didn't think it was a bad thing because I was super mom.
