Over crowded NY shelter system needs help NOW!
This is currently what the NY shelter looks like

PLEASE TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT THIS PICTURE. This is what Manhattan ACC looks like, right now. Inside of these crates, are living dogs, either dropped off by their owners, or found as strays. They never did anything wrong; they depended on humans and humans failed them. The shelter is overflowing with these innocent creatures. If you ever thought about fostering or adopting an ACC dog, now is the time. Now is the time to act. Begging and yelling will not help these poor dogs. Adopting, fostering, actively searching for new people to get involved, supporting our small rescues who are bursting at the seams - these are the things that all of us have to do, and we have to do it NOW.

These poor animals
They are living like this for hours upon hours each day---Remember, they are only taken out by volunteers to be walked---so they may leave their cage at most 4x a day :( So they are probably spending close to 22-23 hours a day with a sheet over their cage
These conditions are horrendous.
Change needs to happen immediately sooooo
once again, I am begging all of you to write to our politicians, donate money to rescues, foster, volunteer your time and voice, etc.
I have made this part of my life, every day I DO something-big or small-to help make change.
Who else wants to join me?

Contact your local town shelter or you can also volunteer with a rescue group!
