TO hempstead animal shelter needs help
Friends, the Town of Hempstead shelter is in need of foster homes during the storm. If you have a cat carrier, they will give you a cat to foster. If you live alone, they will give you a dog to foster. If you want to foster a dog and already have one at home, you must bring the dog to their shelter with proof of vacs for a meet & greet. They are also in need of large & extra large cages, blankets and canned food. Please do not risk your own safety, but if you are able to help they would be grateful. The shelter is located at 3320 Beltagh Ave., Wantagh, NY. Phone number: 516 785 5220.
