I did not drink as a teen because it was illegal. So although I could not care less that Palin's daughter is a teenager and drinking, I would not say 'of course she drinks'. There are many teens, like I was, that did not drink because it was ‘wrong’.

OH MY GOSH!!! She drinks at 17!!! Never would have guessed she would be like most other High Schoolers and try alcohol and take pictures!
Are the pictures at Palin's house?
Honestly all of this is a low blow and it sucks her friends are selling her out!

i'd be surprised if there were NO pics of her daughte drinking and stuff. 
at this point it looks like everyone is looking to paint her daughter as some hussy and saying "omg she drinks! she's pregnant! she's dropped out of HS cause of her pregnancy! what did her mom do wrong!"

With all that is going on with our nation, our economy and our foreign policy I hope and pray that everyone can look past gossip and focus on what the candidate can actually do SHOULD THEY GET INTO OFFICE.
Seeing as how no one is running on a platform to lower the drinking age to 16, I just don't see how any of this matters?
My parents go to church every single Sunday, don't smoke and have never been drunk, never had premarital sex ( yes, I am sure ) and have NEVER uttered a curse word. . .
I on the other hand,was quite the opposite of those things when I was not in front of them and I hope that doesn't diminish the fact that THEY are good people regardless what a piece of garbage I turned out to be.

I also didn't drink in high school. I thought I was the only one. I had too much respect for my parents to break the rules of my house, not to mention the law.

It's not like she was caught smoking crack ala Amy Winehouse. I'd say 80% of teenagers drink at a party in high school. No big whoop to me.

but I agree with previous sentiments....I feel bad for her. But once again, I place a little bit of blame on her mom. She should have protected her any way humanly possible till the BITTER END. Had the PG info not leaked, I dont think people would be looking for things like this YET.

ETA: This does not mean that I condemn Palin for her daughters actions-- I wouldn't even condemn the daughter! In reality, teenagers who go to parties and drink are, sadly, the norm.

Me too. and my cousins who are in HS now aren't drinking either.
I don't think we can say "oh, she's 17, of course she's PG, of course she drinks..." because there are a LOT of kids out there NOT doing these things, who are more concerned about college and their future.

And yes, the MAJORITY of tennagers, ESPECIALLY those in bumble f*ck Alaska where there is NOTHING to do, will be drinking and/or doing drugs - Of course not ALL, but many .......
And really - does it make a difference as to whether or not her mother is a good VP candidate??
