Panic Attack...
I had one today, as I was getting ready for work. It was really bad and went on for like 30mins.
I have been under a lot of stress, I haven't been sleeping well, and kinda was in a trace last nite b4 I went to bed.
I have never had one b4 EVER. It scared me and was very weird. I was hyperventilating and shaking uncontrollaby. I took me a few hours to feel normal again.
Has anyone ever experienced this?

Re: Panic Attack...
Yes, I've definitely felt this all too often. Try writing down some of the things that are stressing you out before you go to bed. You can only handle so much, and I always found that unloading all my thoughts before bed into a journal really helps.

Unfortunately I have been dealing with these since I was about 8 years old...so I guess you can consider me a pro.

Re: Panic Attack...
Yes definitely. It happens to me quite often...started up in HS when my Dad passed away.
Usually when I feel one coming on (heart pounding uncontrollably) I sit down and take a few very deep breaths...eventually my heart starts to slow down and I start to feel normal. There are breathing techniques that can be shown to u by a therapist that help out too.

Re: Panic Attack...
About two years ago I started getting them. Apparently my mom went through this when she was younger and it went away.
BUT. . .
I had a bad one back in December at work and I left on a stretcher to Brookhaven. I was so embarassed .
It stinks I hate having this condition. You should go to your primary care and talk to them about it. My Dr. prescribed me the lowest dose of xanax, for when you need it
