Re: Parents of kids Ages 2 and older
Ava is 26 months and I would say she's pretty much potty trained during the day for about 2 weeks now. She did have a couple of accidents because sometimes when she's playing and not paying attention, well, you know what happens. But it's only been a couple of times. She's in undies all day long and then an overnight pull-up. She's definitely not ready to be nighttime trained. We just went straight to undies and stayed indoors for like 5 days with no other plans than potty training.

Re: Parents of kids Ages 2 and older
I have to much else going on right now. I am going to wait until Baby #2 comes and I am home full time.
He will ask me to go on the potty but then just hangs out on it. I have to bring him his books and close the door
I am fine with him still being in diapers until he is 3

We are totally pee pee trained over here but poop is another story Try M&M's for rewards, worked like a charm for many moms here
Yep, thanks to Gina that worked for us too. Kaila is totally potty trained now, we were having poop accidents but she (knock on wood) has been doing that on the potty too for the last few days or so.
It was not easy though, she showed no interest at all until recently. Come to think of it she didnt show any interest this time, her aunt put her on the potty one day after going in the pool and she just went. So I kept up with it right after and it went smoothly.
I think its different for all children, and its also how you go about it. Im sure if you spend 5 days straight on just that like one of the PP's did its a little easier. But a lot of us cant.. dont worry.. it'll happen

Re: Parents of kids Ages 2 and older
DS is 2 years 9 months. He will go #1 in the potty if I take him there. He never tells me that he needs to go. He will sit on the potty, but he doesn't go #2 there. Even if I know he needs to go, he prefers to go on his pull ups. He doesn't tell me to change him when he goes, so I think he is not ready yet.
