Parents of Kids with a recent stomach illness...
Please tell me how long it lasted! My 10.5 month old daughter woke up throwing up breastmilk on Friday morning 3 times! (I breastfeed still.. obv). Then, threw up again that afternoon. Saturday, she kept everything down & I got some breastmilk & pedialyte in her. Today, she threw up (one time was projectile) twice. I'm going to bring her to the doc tomorrow b/c the doc said usu these things only last 24 hrs....
Anyone's kid have this recently? Any idea what it is/was? I can't take watching my little girl throw up anymore :(

My 16 month old had it this week (and unfortunately so did us parents). He threw up at ton all Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning. He also threw up once on Thursday and once on Friday. He drank and ate very little this week, although the pediatrician said it didn't matter what he drinks, as long as he stayed hydrated. The pediatrician said virus can take a week...DS started finally eating and drinking almost normally yesterday... So it wasn't just a 24 hour bug this time. As for us, I was sick all day Friday, and Saturday, hubby was sick yesterday and today...

My Dd had a mild case of the stomach virus and she threw up for 2 days (only threw up once each day though) but had diarrhea and was not acting like herself for 4-5 days.
Hope your DD feels better soon

We're in the midst of a stomach virus at our house. DD seems to be over it, and I'm almost over it. DS just got it this morning, and DW is in the middle of it. It seems to be about 2 days or so, at least with the one we have.

We all had it at our house and everyone I know has it. For us, it lasted 3+ days. It's just a horrible stomach bug.

We all had it a few weeks ago - my my brother, his wife, their daughter, my sister and my grandmother)
It lasted 24 hours to the minute with all of us, but it took a few days for everyone to feel back to themself.

My dd had it in feb for 4 days (vomiting) and barely ate anything for a week! Than I got it and was sick for 2 days. Hope your dc feels better soon!
