Parking near Brooklyn Bridge Park
Considering stopping there on our way to a wedding in NJ on a Friday in July. Would it be possible to find parking nearby? We'd be traveling with a 3 year old and a 3 month old, so we wouldn't want to have to park too far away. Just trying to decide if we should even bother, or save a visit to the park for a less busy time of year.

Re: Parking near Brooklyn Bridge Park
There is a garage pretty close by I believe.
Street parking is almost nonexistent.
It's a nice park, but there will be a lot of traffic in and out of the area and you'll definitely pay to park. I don't know if I would just stop there.

On the way to a wedding? So you'll already be all dressed up? And a wedding is a long day by itself. I'd probably skip it. It's a schlep with to park, get kids situated in stroller, walk to park, do whatever, walk back to car, etc. And you'll get sweaty in July. So I can't imagine doing it before a wedding.

Forgot to mention we'll be checking in to a hotel before wedding so we'd be able to get dressed up then. Wedding isn't until 6:30. And hotel check in isn't until 3, so I figured we'd go in the early afternoon or late morning .

Parking can be a serious challenge in that area, and it's not really convenient to travel to New Jersey from there. You'll hit traffic no matter which direction you choose, either through Brooklyn/Staten Island or across the Brooklyn Bridge and through Manhattan. But if you're going to be there early in the day it could all work out.
