Parties at Fun for All?

My 4 yr old DD was invited to a Party at Fun For All. I haven't been there, but looking at the pic on the invute, it looks pretty big and very gross motorly oriented. My DD has gross motor delays and if she attends he party my DH would have to bring her not me. He is not super attentive/hands on and I have some concerns for her safety. Has anyone attended a party there? Is it crazy? Hard to supervise your kid?

Re: Parties at Fun for All?

My DD had her 2nd and 3rd birthday parties there.

There are different levels of play. They have a quieter area to the left side of the building that are not actively used. They have a moon room where they can dig at fake moon rocks (Styrofoam) and climb up a tower to see the stars.

The large area of fun-4-all is bounce centers and large jungle gyms to climb all around, in, through and over.

It's very easy to watch kids and even adults can go up and around with their child. We had to with my daughter as she wasn't tall enough at times to get up to the next level, but loved riding the slides all the way down.

It can be loud in there too with the high ceilings and sound bouncing all around.

How crazy busy it is depends on when the party is. During the week it's dead in there. On the weekend, it's chaotic. Like the other poster said, your husband can go on everything with her. I wouldn't be concerned for her safety.

I personally dont like it there. Epecisally for that youmg. My DD went to a party there recently (she is 4) and it was very stressful for me. It was a weekend so the place was packed and all she wanted to do is run with her friends. Then she went in that big black thing that is 6 stories high - I stood right where I thought she would come out. After about 20 minutes I knew something was wrong and started walking around the place and found her on the other side of the place with another mom crying. Apparently she got out a different way then got stuck in another tube thing - this mom helped her out and made her stay with her. (Thank God for her!!) I will say I am the "crazy mom" that follows and watches my DD around the park and these place and even I couldn't keep a full watch oh her 100%. I honeslty wouldnt attend a party there until she is much older now.

This is what I was imagining our experience would be there. I think she'll skip this party. Thanks!!!
