Re: Party menu

I think it's perfect and you have more than enough variety.

Re: Party menu

Everything sounds great!

I'd probably do 3.5 or 4 dozen bagels, just to be on the safe side.

Re: Party menu

Menu sounds great! And I agree - you have a good mix of carb-heavy and protein heavy options, lighter fare/heavier fare, breakfast items and lunch items (I like both for a big brunch!).

I agree that I might add another dozen bagels as the pickiest of eaters, including the kids, will go for them. They are always popular. And you can always freeze leftovers and use them. You could probably even do mini bagels given you have so much other food (but then I'd definitely get 4 dozen).

I might not do ice cream because it's a brunch and fairly early in the day. I would probably just do birthday cake, fruit, and maybe a cookie platter or mini pastries or something (like little crumb cakes, black and white cookies, etc.). I just think it's more "brunch-ish." (And easier to serve as a plus!) But if your crowd will be into the ice cream, then that works!

Sounds good.

I agree with the bagels.

I make pizzas with any leftovers we have in our house btw.

Re: Party menu

I don't think you need more bagels, but what we always do is pre-slice them. Most people wont even take a full bagel.
