Payroll Math question ??!
I get paid once a month. I've been doing more work which my boss says I will get paid more for.
My question is, if I want to clear $200 dollars a month extra, how much of a raise would I have to ask for ??
How do I figure that out ??

add $2,400.00 to your gross salary for the year
eta: if you get paid 50K ask for a raise to 52,400

If you assume about 25% would be taxable, getting 266 extra per month would net you 200. So you'd need a $3,192 raise.
