can someone help me..

what is 40% of $8,262.02?

I didn't understand what the 1/40 was--do you want to know 40% of the original amount, or 1/40 of the amount, which would be 2.5%?

i guess what i m asking is --if something costs $8,262.02..and i need to pay 1/40th of the cost...how much m i paying? :)

whatever precent you want, just move the decimal point over 2 times and multimply by that number

80 % of $65 = .80 * 65 = 52

61% of $362 = .61* 362 = 220.82


not getting what the 1/40 was

1/40 is 206.5505.

You can type math questions into google and get immediate answers. Works for people like me with poor math skills.
