People should mind their own business...
I don't know about other women but it really bothers me when other people give us unwanted advice about when to TTC.
I don't know how many people have told me that it's best that we have kids in my 20's (I'm turning 30 next week), implying that we are late and should hurry.
Then others tell us which month we should conceive because of X, Y, and Z reason.
Others say we should wait as long as possible.
TTC is heavy on our minds but it's our own personal decision, not anyone else's. We haven't exactly started TTC conceive yet but what if we have problems? I just want to tell them to shut up and mind their own business.

Re: People should mind their own business...
i agree as a teacher everyone tells me when i should plan to give birth but guess what it doesn't work that way i don't care what month it is i just want to be blessed with a little baby
of course my all time favorite advice is relax it will happen when it happens yeah i know but it gets frustrating
just ignore people as best you can and do whatever you feel is the right thing for you and your dh

Re: People should mind their own business...
I'm really sick and tired of the unwanted advice as well!!! I am also tired of people asking me "so when are you finally gonna get pregnant!" HEY YA BIG JERK!! ITS NOT THAT EASY FOR SOME OF US!!!
One girl told me today that the reason why I am not preggo is because I am too much into the TTC part of it! I should just let it go! WHATEVER! I TRIED THAT TOO! Now, I need to try every other thing possible!!!
Do they realize that this is a little personal? Except for the fact that I post on LIF when my boobs are sore and how DH and BD and when!! HA HA

Re: People should mind their own business...
You guys read my mind!!!!! I work with pretty much all women and all I hear is "so when are you gonna make that husband of yours a father?" "why havent you given him any children yet?" "you know you're getting older and its not gonna be so easy for you" Its like rubbing salt in the wound b/c the truth is we're suffereing from male factor IF issues. One of these days I'm telling you I'm gonna lose it and tell them all where to go. MIND YOUR OWN FREAKIN BUSINESS PEOPLE!!!!!!!

Re: People should mind their own business...
When DH and I got married my MIL right away expected me to get PG due to my age (33 at the time). So each and everytime we would get together with DH's family the "question of are you and When" always came up. Our solution.....DH finally started telling everyone he doesn't want children. From that point everyone stopped "bringing up the subject" so not to hurt my feelings

I completely agree! Everyone, even people I hardly know have started asking when we're going to. DH has gotten so tired of it he tells them he can't, he doesn't want kids. it's all my fault, whatever he's feeling at the moment....

Re: People should mind their own business...
People are constantly asking me, so I'm just honest, and say, "we're working on it." Then, they feel that gives them right to give unsolicited advice:
"I hope you're not using those OPKs." "When you relax it will happen." "Be thankful you don't have kids."
And my favorite this weekend was: "You haven't even been trying that long". She really was so off base in saying that b/c she has no idea how long we've been trying - 2 weeks, 2 months, 2 years - it was just an assumption in her head.

I can't stand the "relax" comment!!! These haven't been said to me but to my friends/DH's family. Ummm, when there is a medical issue going on, no amount of "relaxing" is going to fix it.

Re: People should mind their own business...
My favorite are people who don't even really know you...just know you're married without a belly - that's about it. But they loveeeeeeeeee to give their "expert" opinions.
Especially co-workers..THEY'RE THE BEST ONES! Like I would ever share anything personal with them..but because I work with them for 8 -longggggggggg hours a day..they feel compelled to share their thoughts and opinions.
I wanna be like "Shove it up your A$$"....
LOL, you all must think I have rage issues..l swear I don't..hahaha. These people just drive me crazy.
Here's some for the road!
