Re: picky eaters - Dinner help

I just went through another of those phases! I swear they cycle on and off with eating habits!

-tacos
-breakfast for dinner (veggie omlets and blueberry pancakes are my go to)
- quesadillas
- burgers and hot dogs
- I've been making naan pizzas, and for whatever reason they love them, even my oldest who is beyond picky. They usually make there own. Favorites are red sauce with fresh mozzarella, and spinach or garlic white sauce with ricotta, fresh mozzarella and broccoli. I make a spicy mayo with buffalo shrimp for DH and I.

My 5yo basically rotates mac n cheese, quesadillas, PBJ, pasta with butter, an occasional hot dog, cereal, oatmeal, stambled eggs, and yogurt.

She used to eat pizza, fish sticks, sausage, ham, chicken nuggets, mini meatballs but all those are no longer edible lol. There's really no fighting it with her so I don't bother.

Re: picky eaters - Dinner help

I do pasta in different versions, with bolognese sauce, meatballs, chicken Alfredo, with chicken parmesan, that way I have more variety.

Tacos also work great or a variation of them, like burritos (stuffed with refried beans, rice, chicken and cheese) and quesadillas. SometimesI make tacos with ground beef, refried beans and cheese.

I also do lentils, but add cut up hot dogs. I serve them with rice.

If your DC like chicken nuggets, then they might like breaded chicken. This with mac and cheese, or rice -do you notice a trend here? Chat Icon I love rice!

As a PP mentioned, hamburgers and home made pizza.

You can also tried hamburger helper Chat Icon Sometimes if I'm being lazy I do one of those and DS likes them. I have to admit that I have 2 picky eaters here, one of them being DH, so these options work for DH also Chat Icon (except for the lentils, though).
