Pics from Nicholas' Saf T Swim Party
We had the party at Saf T Swim in Nesconset, it was great! Clean, brand new facility, and the staff was wonderful. Nicholas had the BEST time! I ordered the beach ball supplies from Shindigz (love that site!). I made the favors. I bought little canvas bags at Dollar Tree (3/$1) and put in them a bag of goldfish and a candy bar that I made a wrapper for. I printed the tags and made a faded beach ball on them (hard to see in the pic).
The cake we got from Create A Cake in Port Jeff..AWFUL. I will never order a cake again without seeing a picture of it. Some of the young girls at the party noticed the woman on the side of the cake with the large breasts in the bikini top and many of the adults thought the cans they were holding looked like beer cans (they were pepsi and something else). We all got a laugh out of it, but completely inappropriate for a 10 year old party!! I was very embarrased to even serve it, but since it was picked up on the way to the party, there was nothing I could do. I'm so disgusted at them right now. Of course his dad is the one that picked it up and he didn't even bother to look at it since it was taped shut, and he wouldn't have said anything to them anyway.
Sorry for the rant! Here are some pics! I highly recommend this facility for a party!!

Do you think this would be a good idea for a bunch of 6 year olds? Or is it geared more towards kids that can already swim?

I cringe everytime I look at the pic of it 
They do offer swimmies, kickboards, noodles, etc. They also test each child really quickly upon entry to see their swimming level. So even if the kids aren't strong swimmers and are okay with swimmies on, I think they would have a blast! A sibling came..I think she was around 5 and she swam the whole pool with her swimmies and had a lot of fun!

The cake is hysterical! It's actually a really cute cake, just doesn't exactly depict *10 year olds* in a pool!

The cake is hysterical --- i showed it to my DH and the first thing he said was "are those beer cans?". All you can do is laugh about it. It'll make a funny memory.
