Pilates or Yoga?

I am a runner and I am constantly training for races. I am looking for something to balance me out. A stronger core would also be great!! I never tried either....any advice?

I love pure barre...it's basically a combo of mat Pilates and a ballet-bar based isometric workout with some common yoga stretches thrown in. After doing that for a while, I tried regular yoga and thought it was boring as hell :) bar method, physique 57, and fly barre are similar concepts. Good luck!

Pilates or Yoga?

I've tried both and Pilates is my favorite. I get much more of a workout with pilates. I'm always sore the next day and I've been doing it every week for over a year. I find yoga boring too as the PP said.

yoga 100%

I am a runner as well and I need the yoga to keep my muscles loose and help with injury prevention.

also i find yoga has much better mental benefits.

Or PiYo! It's a combination of both! The workouts are pretty quick too. I also love Cardio Barre.
