PIT BULL OWNERS
My dh rescued this dog 4 yrs ago and brought him home to me. I was afraid of him because he was a pit bull. I didnt even let him in my house.. I marched him over to my very dear friend and next door neighbor.. This is one of my lifes lessons ... Vito turned out to be one of the sweetest most submissive dogs I have ever met in my life.. I love him so much and am so lucky my neighbor took him so I can experience this wonderful dog that I missed out on.

I was afraid of my dog Casey when I was at an adoption event. I went and said hello to every other dog but I said to myself why are you discriminating against this dog because her ears are cut and shes a little scary looking. The rescue group would not save her if she was aggresive.
So I walked slowly to her and knelt down and she put her forehead on my knee and I fell in love.
I love pitbulls, they get such a bad wrap because of owners who want big mean dogs but I have to say we fostered a poodle and he was really cute but he was a nasty dog. He would bite Casey in the face and she would just stand there and look at him.

Awwwww!!!!
I don't have one but my brother did. She was the sweetest dog to everyone.
Everyone was so upset when she passed.

I have a pit mix and he is the most loving dog.....licks everyone he sees.
My MIL has a pit too and he is the calmest, friendliest dog I have ever met in my life

This is one reason I feel soo bad about all the bad things that are said about pit bulls. My SIL has a pure pit... most loving animal I have ever met!! We have a pit mix, and he's sooo sweet and caring. I actually would rather want a pit around kids then say a golden retreiver... My good friend had one and totally snapped one day. I just wish people would stop thinking bad about them till they actually met one personally...
