Placenta Accreta
i just found out that i have placenta accreta due to scar tissue on my uterus.
my doctors want to do a scheduled c-section at 36 weeks to avoid hemorraging and to make an attempt to avoid hysterectomy, which is a common consequence of accreta....
i know it's rare, but does anyone have any experience with accreta?

What is the orginal scar from?
is it similar to a c/s scar?
I would get a second opinion and another ultrasound. I wouldn't schedule surgery or even consider removing my uterus without another objective opinion.
