Planting bulbs that bloom in the spring
Is it too early to do this? What does everyone plant? Just tulips?
TIA!

my mom is great with this stuff. about 3-4 weeks ago my mom came over and planted all our tulip bulbs. I dont know if its getting too cold to still do it though. I would think that it should be fine though

Re: Planting bulbs that bloom in the spring
You should do it before the first freeze, so you have plenty of time.
I plant tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, crocus and a few others. If you plant a variety, try to pick ones that bloom at different times (early spring vs. late spring vs. early summer) so you'll always have some flowers.

Re: Planting bulbs that bloom in the spring
Best time to plane tulips is right now. As soon as the house is ours, I'm planting tulips!!! It should say on the box or bag the best time to plant each.
