playtex straw sippy cups
DS now drinks milk from his straw sippy cups. he'll take a sip and put it on the table and two seconds later..the milk is coming up through the straw and making a puddle on the table. this doesn't happen when the cup is filled with water. anyone else experiencing this? It happens mainly with the Playtex straw cups. can anyone recommend a new sippy cup?

Re: playtex straw sippy cups
I have the ones that close. if i close the straw I will get squirted in the face with milk when I open it. it's such a mess. I'm reading reviews on amazon of this happening to others. they are saying the old playtex sippy cups were so much better.

hmmmm - this only happens to us if Em has water/milk in the straw and closes it. If she finished everything in the 'top' part of the straw it doesn't happen.
we have no issues with leakage (unless the straw isn't in right DAVE).. :) We do turn WAY past the 'click' point though - if you are using the 'locking ones'....

YES! how do i prevent this? there is like build up of milk in the straw which does leak out of DD turns over the cup. I open the lid to release air and the milk will go back in but as soon as she drinks again, the liquid gets trapped again.

Re: playtex straw sippy cups
Same issue here. We don't have the ones that click. Do they only make the click ones in the larger size? We need handles here....DS thinks that any other cup that I give him is fair game to roll under the couch otherwise. For some reason the ones that have handles aren't as much fun to roll under the couch!
I have tried a bunch of others, especially the ones that have the valves b/c of this leaking issue...but again...none of them have handles!
