I could be wrong, but I think you can now get a ticket if you don't clean off the roof.

I can't stand people who do not clean off their vehicles!!
There is absolutely no excuse...NONE what's so ever.
The road is a shared place that means everyone needs to do their part to keep it safe. If you can't then get someone to do it or stay off the road.
DH almost got killed one day on his way to work when a huge chunk of ice flew off the car in front of him and smashed into his truck. He lost control of the vehicle and slammed into another car.
No excuse!!!!!!

PLEASE clean the snow off the roof of your car!
I saw a guy on vets highway today who must not have cleaned his roof bc it had all slid down and was covering the bottom 18 in of his front windshield. He didn't even look like he had any intention of stopping and was just straightened as tall as he could sit to try to see over it.
I also saw cars driving around with tons of snow on top with pedestrians walking right next to them. Do they not think of the damage they could do to someone if a chunk of ice flies at someone who has no protection?

DH always cleans off the roof, of course today is the day he didn't. I was pissed and he cleaned it off. We have been hit with flying ice before and it's no joke. I'm sorry, if you can't clean it off then don't drive. It's much too dangerous.

The worst is the big box trucks. I was driving behind one today and huge sheets of snow were flying off. Thankfully it's still just snow but it will all be ice shortly!
