please help... ground beef sitting on counter staring at me
what the heck do I do with it tonight...
I have no motivation to do anything, looking for something kid friendly and tasty ... and its always meatballs... my DH isn't into mexican...
Any ideas?

1.5 lbs ground beef, 1 egg, 1 cup breadcrumbs, italian seasoning, chopped onion, 1 cup milk, salt/pepper to taste. Top with mixture of 2tbsp brown sugar, 2 tbsp ketchup, and yellow mustard (to taste) and bake at 350 for about an hour.
Super easy, tasty and kid-friendly. My DS loves it. Not as yummy as the recipes that use Onion Soup mix but it's the best I found so far that I can make with all organic and natural ingredients.
Make some mashed potatoes or brown rice and veggies for the side and you're done!

I am stuffing bell peppers and baby eggplant with a mixture of rice and cooked ground beef, covering with some mozzarella cheese and red sauce, and baking until the veggies are nice and soft.

brown the meat and drain it and mix it with some macaroni & cheese ... quick, easy, def kid friendly! ...

I would make this every night, but my DS and DH hate peppers, despise eggplants and unless I can hide them this dish would be ignored... even if I tell them just pull the yummy meat out.
I love this though, my mom used to make it all the time.

Do you have mac & Cheese?
If so, make the box of mac and cheese and stir in the ground beef!
ETA: I didn't even see the other poster that suggested this...lol

I just was going through the same thing and decided to just make burgers. Threw in some yummy spices and A1.
Now DH just needs to move the grill out from undercover and back up on our deck.
