please help me stay calm....update on bottom
This morning I wake up to a message from yesterday from the sonogram place I use and it was the Dr saying to please come in Thursday it really important. Last week I had my level II and my sono tech couldn't get everything she needed but she said everything looked great now I get this message and I am scared **** I hope everything is fine I am 21w3days.ladys please help me stay calm and hope everything is OK tomorrow when I go.
update
well here is the update i went to the dr today and he explained everything to me and he said they saw echogenic bowel which is a thing that can cause down. he said it a 3% chance that it is it but he said i could go for a amniocentesis but said the test is not 100% safe it could kill the baby. so now i have to go for a fetal echo which could see if it is down and if it come out negitve then the chance of down will go down a little. but the best thing to do is go for the amniocentesis but i dont feel safe doing it. he also said it could be that the baby sallowed some blood or something. so we will pray for the best and hopefully everything is ok

Can you call and tell your doctor that you are worried and would like to go in sooner or speak to him/her over the phone.

i called back and asked if i could speak to the dr and they told me that the dr is not in today. so i just have to wait until tomorrow. but i am driving myself crazy

I would 100% call the doctor and tell them you must know NOW what is going on!!! Its not fair to do that to you!
ETA: I just saw your above post, have them ask the doctor to call you ASAP, they can get in touch with the doctor if they need to.

I agree - I'm sure it's some stupid clerical error on their part that they need fixed asap and the best way to make sure it's done is to scare the daylights out of you. Don't worry until there's something to worry about

Impossible not too- I would freak out too.
eta- nm- I reread the OP.
So was it YOUR Dr. that called, or the Dr at the sono place?
Because if it wa sthe latter, you should call your Dr for peace of mind.

I know how hard it is not to worry as I would be upset too but try to stay calm. It is better for the baby.
They probably want you to come in to get the rest of the pictures. My doctor would not review any of the pictures until they had them all so I had to go back again. They may just want to get them all done so they can read the results and close out the file.

Please try not to worry until there is something to worry about.
Sometimes doctors like to make big deals out of things, especially Ob/Gyns, they have the highest malpractice records. They just need to cover their butts.
But I am that everything is OK.

I know it must be so hard for you right now. Try not to worry...although I'm sure that's impossible. Ask if you can even speak to a nurse, they should at least know what's going on!

I had a growth sono on Monday and the tech called in the MD after I thought she was all done. When he came in the room they started going on and on about something she saw "around the heart" but refused to tell me anything. My OB was out yesterday and today and my regular appointment is for tomorrow.
Well, I couldn't handle the wait so I went to the office this morning to read the darn report and it says NOTHING about whatever it was they were looking at around the heart.
Moral of the story: DON'T STRESS!!!!!!
