One of the neuro doctors came by a little while ago to say that the eeg showed no seizures since she's been on phenobarbital but there has been some activity that they need to look into. Could be what would be a seizure but it's being suppressed by the meds but they're not sure yet. They're going to schedule an mri of her brain to see what is going on in there. She's also doing well with lowering her ventilator settings so they will continue to do so today.

I'm at Stonybrook Hospital right now with my mom (Monday 6:30 pm). If I can bring you anything please let me know. I'm happy to do it---food, drink, anything....I'll be here for a while so don't hesitate.

Mri is normal!
She had a tough time adjusting back to the vent after going for the MRI so we didn't go down on her vent rate as much as we would have liked but thank god her MRI was normal and we can continue to monitor her for seizure activity and work on weaning her off as much as she can.
