FYI, we live in Queens....so the set up is a little different.

Nice houses! I feel like I've seen a few of these houses in passing...anyone in Mass or MP?
North Massapequa, actually a Seaford mailing address with Plainedge schools and South Farmingdale water.....

Colleen - i like those "hideous" shutters. I like the black. just my opinion. i think your house is really pretty.
Thanks...they're just not my taste. They're a little too rustic whereas I like a cleaner look. I'd prefer just a thick white trim around the windows, no sutters.

why, because i live in the "woods"? 
actually a bear would have been a little more welcomed than this particular "visitor". but no, this was a human neighbor that plowed through my closed garage a few weeks ago. nice, huh? not only did he cause over $20k in damages, he didn't even apologize.

This is my FIL's house but we'll be moving in there within about a month or so. It is a winter pic so it's not great---but his yard is very well manicured, it just needs some "updated" touches because he's an older man so it's out of date. Hopefully we'll make some changes with time.
