Re: Please recommend a cardiologist in Suffolk
I travel from Suffolk into Nassau to see Dr. Jay Dubowsky in Manhasset. He is affiliated with North Shore. One if his partners, Dr. Nicosia, is very well known and is chief of cardiology at St. Francis. I'm not sure if Dr. Nicosia sees new patients anymore but their practice is wonderful.

Re: Please recommend a cardiologist in Suffolk
If you're willing to travel to Nassau, Dr. Raio (affiliated with Winthrop) is amazing. Nurses and other doctors jokingly refer to him as "God" because he catches everything. He saved my father's life when other top cardiologists told him he was probably fine. (My father wound up having 4 major blockages!)
FM me if you'd likeme to get his info -- though I realize he's not in the area you were asking about.

Re: Please recommend a cardiologist in Suffolk
Thanks Kara and everyone.
Dad has to take Fred so it's hard to keep going back and forth into Nassau.
He has an appointment with Suffolk Heart Group with Dr. David Farr tomorrow.
Dr. Deutsch wasn't available on short notice.
Either way, I hope this is better for Fred.

Just an FYI I used to work with Dr Farr too and he is older than dirt I would go for another opinion..
