Please recommend your NON-DSLR camera.
I need a camera that I can easily throw in a bag and take with me places. Our current camera is a 5 megapixel kodak easyshare. I got it in 2005 and it has served it's purpose, but an upgrade is in order.
Any and all suggestions are welcome.

I love my canon powershot - I will check the style # and they just came out with another one that I have my eye on!
Nikon - has new cool one - Ashton Kutcher does the commercials for it.
I have had a sony before - but moved to canon - which I prefer.

def a canon powershot - i love mine! i had my first for almost 5 years - until my sister broke it. i got another one 3 years ago and its doing well

I had one- then upgraded to another one a few years later
Never had an issue

I have a SOny that has been great. I use it when its too much of a pain to bring our DSLR.

I have a Nikon Coolpix 6100. It takes great pictures and I love its size for throwing in my bag.

Canon PowerShot S95 or Nikon Coolpix S9100 have great ratings.
hehehe if i ever get a point and shoot besides my instant and antique cameras it will be fUJI X-100.

Yet another vote for the Powershot. It was the first big thing DH and I bought together back in early 2007 and it's still working great.
