I have the 2007 sante fe I love it b/c i wanted that option but to not drive a "bus" but it is a gas guzzler only thing i dont like

Acura MDX - love it! Our other option was the Honda Pilot. I don't think you can go wrong with either one!

My MIL has the Honda Pilot and the 3rd row is useless IMO. There is no trunk space at all. And you cannot climb back there with a child to get them in the infant seat. We have an 04 Cadillac Escalade ESV we bought used privately. There is still a great amount of trunk space even with the 3rd row up. 2nd row is captains chairs so you can get to the back. Your best bet is probably a minivan or Tahoe, etc.
