I'm sooo sorry for what you are going through. I hope all is OK.
I had 2 instances with spotting/bleeding.
At around 8 weeks i had some spotting for a few days... maybe 5 days??
At around 12-13 weeks I had full on bright red bleeding. I went to an emergency appt at the dr office. He was able to take gorse pads and scoop out a bunch of the blood that was going to come out... I then spotted for over a week. I'd say 10 days. The first few days were red then it slowly turned to brown spotting.
The baby was fine. And both times they couldn't find any reason for the bleeding at all. I'm now 27 weeks along.
There are bleeding instances and everything can still be fine. I hope that's the case with you.

I had something very similar happen when I was 6 weeks or so. It turned out to be a subchorionic hematoma. I was a nervous wreck, but the baby was totally fine.

I have had subchorionic hematomas with my past 2 pregnancies...Had no idea how common they were...Bad bleeding incidents that landed me in the ER...They are scary as heck, but I delivered 2 healthy children ..Try not to think the worst , its quite possible this is all that it is
