Urine is sterile while it's in your body. Once its out is no longer sterile.

Anyone that thinks peeing in the shower is gross but wears their shoes in their house is a hypocrite because essentially you're dragging in the piss and feces of loads of other creatures in the world and you're okay with living amongst that.

Oh, we absolutely do not wear shoes in our house! It boggles my mind how many people don't find this disgusting.
