Re: PLEASE share some easy recipes
Mix one packet of Lipton Garlic & Herb soup mix with 2/3 cup water and oil. Pour over chicken and bake at 400 degrees. Mine and DHs new fave go to dish.
Cook up some garlic in oil. Dip chicken in garlic and oil mixture and then in bread crumbs. Bake at 400 degrees.
Cook up onion and garlic in pan. Add sausage (I use chicken sausage). Cook until no longer pink. Add some white wine and let the wine cook off until there's a little liquid in the pan. Add can of diced tomatoes. Add 1 cup heavy cream (I recently used a can of crushed tomatoes in place of the heavy cream and we liked it just as much). Add seasonings (depending on your taste, but my usuals are garlic salt, black pepper, garlic powder, crushed red pepper, italian seasoning...all go in just about everything I make). Mix with pasta.
Burgers: Mix ground beef with bread crumbs, Lipton Onion Soup Mix (half packet) worsechester (sp??) sauce, crushed red papper, garlic powder, garlic salt, black pepper. Form into patties and throw on george foreman for a few minutes (I like mine very well done so I put them on for 10 minutes). Add cheese if desired.
Good ole pasta and meatballs with garlic bread: Meatballs - Mix chop meat with bread crumbs, egg, parmesan cheese, garlic, onion (if desired) and seasonings. Bake at 400 degrees and then let cook in sauce (if desired).
Garlic bread - Melt butter. Add garlic powder, black pepper, garlic salt and italian seasoning. Mix. Brush over bread. Bake at 325 degrees covered with aluminum foil while pasta water boils. When pasta water is ready for pasta, remove bread, sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Put back in oven uncovered. Put on broil for last couple of minutes.
Penne ala vodka: Cook up onion and garlic. Add vodka and cook off. Add can of crushed tomatoes or can of stewed tomatoes. Add seasonings. Add heavy cream.
I have a document with over 200 pages of recipes, some easy, some not so much. Feel free to FM me your email address and I'll send it to you.

I've never had flames. But that's because I just realized I wrote it incorrectly. The vodka should go in after the tomatoes. Sorry! Good thing you asked!

Re: PLEASE share some easy recipes
I actually add the vodka before the tomatoes. And I have never had a flame-up.

Re: PLEASE share some easy recipes
If I'm in the mood for an easy chicken recipe I usually use the shake and bake packs and make a side of whole wheat pasta and the steamed veggie bags are the BEST invention. Easy and filling dinner.

Re: PLEASE share some easy recipes
EASY yummy & pretty healthy chicken:
-Add some salt & pepper to some plain yogurt
-Dip thin sliced chicken cutlets into the yogurt & squeeze off excess
-Then coat the cutlet in panko bread crumbs
Bake on cookie sheet at 350 for like 30 minutes
Super crispy & good I dip it in my fave condiments like honey mustard or tatziki (yogurt/cucumber sauce)

How to cook it:

Cook for 15 mins. and Finito!!!

Re: PLEASE share some easy recipes
The recipe I made tonight was easy.
Pour 1 cup of chicken stock and one bottle of beer into a pot. Heat to a simmer and slide in a chicken breast or two (one was enough for DH and I but we are light eaters). Poach 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
In the meantime, heat a skillet with olive oil and put in some chopped onions and garlic. Let that soften and caramelize while the chicken cooks.
When the chicken is done, take it out and shred with 2 forks. Put the shredded chicken in with the onions and garlic. Add bbq sauce (you can thin out with some of the leftover poaching liquid if its too thick to coat) and leave on a few minutes to reheat.
Serve on rolls. It's really good. It's a Rachael Ray recipe.

Re: PLEASE share some easy recipes
This is Grandma Rella's famous baked ziti recipe FROM Italy. This is my FIL's mother who is from Bari and this recipe is the shiiiiit. and NOT hard!
Baked Ziti
-1 lb. pasta -1/2 lb. mortadella (ask for it thinly sliced at any butcher) -1/2 lb. ham (same thing - thinly sliced) -1 lb. mozzarella cheese (in a block - fresh) -3.5 cups grated parmasean cheese -Equivilent of 1 jar of meat sauce -- we don't buy sauce in the jar, we make fresh but you can buy a good sauce and it is the same difference. i have had it both ways (when i'm lazy).
cube everything first -- cube mortadella, ham and mozzarella cheese. that way, you are all set.
cook pasta - when done and strained mix in a little bit of sauce so that the pasta doesn't stick together. i would say about 1/2 cup to 1 cup of sauce - depending on how much you like. i'm not a sauce person so i put a small amount.
in a standard lasagna pan (about 13x9) put half of the pasta in the pan - nice and flat in order to layer, then put all of the cold cuts (spread evenly), and the first 1/2 lb of the mozzarella cheese - evenly spread.
sprinkle three cups of the grated cheese -- evenly -- it should be a thin film of grated cheese.
then, add the rest of the pasta on top of that! top off with the rest of the mozzarella (so, the other half pound) and half a cup of the parm grated cheese -- all evenly distributed. you can add some extra sauce at this point - it depends on how much sauce you want. i usually don't put anymore on it -- just the bit in the beginning to keep it from sticking. what i do is i save the rest of the sauce on the SIDE and people spoon it on when they eat it. b/c i'm really not a sauce person.
bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes -- at the end, i switch it over to broil (a feature on your oven) for about the last 5/6 minutes to get those golden brown crispy edges and top!!!!
my husband wants me to add that, when you buy your coldcuts, buy the boars' head brand he is a stickler about this one part.
ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: PLEASE share some easy recipes
take chicken breasts, put in a oven proof pan, pour one or 2 cans of diced tomatos over them (depending on how much chicken you have), add some spices (basil, oregano, salt pepper, garlic)
and bake in the oven at 350 degress for about 30 mins or longer depending on how much chicken.
Serve over rice or noodles
