Please share your 3 day potty training experience...UPDATED
On Friday we're saying goodbye to diapers & hello to "undies"! We have a good 20 pair, clean & ready to go. I already have someone lined up to take the diapers off our hands & out of the house - leaving one for DS to toss in the garbage himself.
DS has been going to the potty both #1 & 2 for over a year now, but not consistently. I think that's more my fault because honestly - diapers were just easier most times. But, it's about time, he'll be 3 in October & since we've been talking about it more he's really excited.
Can anyone share what their experience was if you did the 3 day potty training? How were night times? Did you do a potty chart & "gifts"?
Any tips or anything you'd like to share is appreciated!
UPDATE: Just a quick update for anyone ever doing a search on this.
We started 3 day training yesterday, DS had about 3 accidents before his nap & another 4 "tinkle" in his undies before he ran for the potty. He woke up dry from his nap & stayed dry for the rest of the day. He slept through the night completely dry & not having to get up to use the bathroom. Today - 0 accidents. Not a tinkle - nothing. He's done both #1 & 2 on both days.
We pretty much followed the 3 day to a T. No diapers or pull-ups at all. Never asked him if he had to go potty, just said "Let Mommy know if you have to go potty" & "you're doing a great job keeping your undies dry!" Lots of telling him how proud we were...because we were/are! Hugs, kisses & dancing. No bribes - just did stickers if he went. This morning when he woke up dry we gave him a small toy. We also didn't put him on the potty every X # of minutes, since the book said it's important for them to know when they have to go - it needs to click.
As with everything - some things work for some people, where it doesn't work for others. I'm just thankful it's worked for us.

Please share your 3 day potty training experience...
I just did it with my 2 yr old son! I had him naked from the waist down the first day. Every time he went to pee, I put him right on the potty. He got it within the first couple of hours. The next day I had him in lose fitting shorts- whenever I put underwear on him he would have an accident ( I guess he thought it felt like a diaper). By day 3 he was completely trained. I still put him in a diaper at night but he is even going when we leave the house for day trips which I was nervous about. I gave him stickers when he peed and a lollipop when he pooped. By the 3 rd day I didn't need the stickers but I still use the lollipops. Hth

Thanks so much for sharing!
I can't wait to see what the weekend brings!
I've already prepared daycare for no diapers or pull-ups starting on Monday & they were great with that.

I tried it with my identical twins in December...
One was potty trained on day 2. The other wanted no part of it. We abandoned it day4. She wasn't ready. We waited 3 months until she told me she was ready.

Re: Please share your 3 day potty training experience...
I tried it in Feb with my 26 month old. SHe had already been trying to go and we decided we were over diapers and it was time. Day 1 sucked , Day 2 was worse and by Day 3 we were done. It is 5 months later and she refuses to even go near a potty and has ever since then. Lord knows when we will try again. I tried bribing her with stickers, candy, princess clothes, movies, books, whatever I could. Right now we are working on if she goes pee and poop without a diaper my sister and i will take her to ride a pony She gets so excited and then screams when she says she wants to go and we go near the potty.
