Please tell me what to do with this hair
Can someone please tell me what to do with Reilly's hair!!! It's like this almost every morning! Matted and notty! Poor things screams when we have to brush it. I have my routine of wetting it first then 2 different detanglers and still it's just a disaster to brush!!! I use a detangler shampoo and leave in conditioner. I just bought her children's suave conditioner as well. I am thinking of clipping it down at night but have a feeling this hair will defy any clip!!!
It's a pic from my phone so it may not be that clear...HELP!!!

O.M.G. I'm sorry, but she looks so adorable!!!!!!
Do you use a paddle brush? I find them to be kinder.

Re: Please tell me what to do with this hair
I had similar issue/tactic as you...(wet hair & comb)...only thing to work was to change bath time to morning.

Re: Please tell me what to do with this hair
she is too cute for words mia!
Is her hair long enough that you can braid it or put it in two pigtails? my mom used to do that with my sister's hair to tame it and I think it worked pretty well

LOL, I wish I had time to bathe her in the morning but working it's not possible unless I have my MIL do it for me..which may work!
I haven't tried a paddle brush I use a regular brush for her, maybe I will try using my paddle brush on her! I feel like it's going to fall out with all the stuff and brushing I have to do to it!

Re: Please tell me what to do with this hair
That is hysterical!
at nite, I do take G's hair that is SUPER CURLY, and tie it back.
Cause in AM its CRAZY!
I call her CRAZY HAIR Balsamo,
I use sleek shampoo and conditioner and then use a anti frizz cream.
in am, I will spray detangler, use the anti frizz cream and style.

Re: Please tell me what to do with this hair
If you don't want to cut it, most likey you won't...there is a purple leave in conditioner from the brand ENJOY. I swear by it.
I am sure you can get it at any salon but I know for a fact Catus Salon carries it. It's about $18 but totally worth the investment.
Try that first.
Good Luck!

My friends daughter has hair like that. When I babysat her, I bathed her in he morning, put frizze serum in and and her hair looked amazing. Her mom couldn't believe it!

Re: Please tell me what to do with this hair
No advise, but she is just too cute for words That hair is hysterical. I have a boy with stick straight hair and even some mornings it manages to be all over the place. He's a boy though so I just let it be with a quick comb through it
Good luck... Lots of conditioner!

I have heard this too!
Between all the hair products and now silk pillowcases this is going to be one expensive child! And to think I have 2 more girls coming
They better have my hair not their fathers!
I am going to try that frizze serum as well, any particular brand???

omg. that pic is too cute!!
I would try pig tails or braiding it at night, that helps to make the morning brushing less painful.

a good conditioner! I have the same problem (with my own hair )
Or even, just run a little lotion into it when its still wet after bath.

Re: Please tell me what to do with this hair
dd's hair gets pretty knotted as well but not as bad...
will she let you braid her hair? i would just try to braid the end where it is long and put a hair tie or maybe you can roll it into a bun? but that might not be comfy to sleep with...
poor thing! she is still just the cutest ever!

Re: Please tell me what to do with this hair
Too cute! My sister had hair like that and over time so much of it broke off and got very damaged. SO be careful with the brushing and tight rubberbands! I think braiding it would work well for sleeping. Then unbraid and spray with some water in the morning and you get cute waves.

This is what I am worried about, it looks so damaged to me in the front already and broken, even thinned out. I want to try to do whatever I can to make it better now. I am going to start to braid it at night and see how that goes. The problem is DH will have to learn how to braid as well!!

Re: Please tell me what to do with this hair
is it long enough to possibly braid before bed? I know that's not exactly convenient, but may save a lot of time and trauma every morning ........
