Please Touch Museum questions
We're looking for somewhere to go for 2 nights and I've heard great things about the museum. However, we want to go within the next few weeks so I'm not sure what other indoor activities there are in the area for a 3 yr old to enjoy. How far is the crayola factory? Id love to do the zoo if the weather permits, but Im not relying on it Also, if you've stayed near the museum, please recommend your hotel. I must warn you I'm a bit of a hotel snob ;) Thanks in advance for your help!

Not sure, but I think they're two different places.

Re: Please Touch Museum questions
Hands On is by Dutch Wonderland and is a smallish museum. Please Touch is in Philly (about 35 min side trip from Sesame Place and the Crayola Factory, which is how we did it) and IMO AWESOME. It makes the LICM look like someone's garage. We spent about 4 hours there and regretted not getting there earlier. Ds easily could have spent 7 hours there. It's really an amazing place. The Crayola Factory is a trip for another day- not with Please Touch, however we only stayed there about 3 hours. We probably would have stayed longer if Ds was older. He was like 18 months at the time and more into breaking crayons than drawing.

Re: Please Touch Museum questions
We love the Hyatt Regency at Penn's Landing. the Marriott has also recently been redone. The Franklin institute is indoors and has lots of fun hands on exhibits. They have a whole room for younger kids, and many of the other exhibits are fun too. We were at the Please Touch Museum beofre they moved, and it was amazing then....I hear it is incredible now!

Re: Please Touch Museum questions
DS loved the Please Touch Museum which is in Philadelphia. It's pretty big, we spent about 6 hours there, taking a break for lunch. He was 2 at the time. We did it on the way home from another trip, so no hotel recommendations.

Re: Please Touch Museum questions
The Please Touch Museum was AMAZING!!! My DD LOOOOOOVED it!!! I can't wait to take her back this year!! It's absolutely beautiful and there is SO much for the little ones to do. You will have a fantastic time!!
The zoo was like 5 minutes away. We didn't get a chance to go on our last trip but it looked really nice. We did hit up the Crayola Factory. It was crowded but lots of fun. There was a lot of creative things for the little ones to do. It was worth the trip.
I can't recommend a hotel that is close by because we actually stayed about a half hour from the Please Touch Museum, closer to Sesame Place. Our hotel was nice but there wasn't much in the area. I'm sure you won't have a problem finding some nice places to stay in and around Philly.
Have a great trip!!
