Poll... Just wondering what your experiences were with being pregnant!
How did you feel about your last pregnancy?? Im having a hard time with it. I always though it would be the most wonderful time and im finally admiting to myself it certainly is not. I feel like it is always something. I just want DH to understand how hard it is on my body.

I wouldn't say it was horrible, but I didn't like being pregnant.

I liked being pregnant when I was a cute size, not when I was enormously pregnant.

Re: Poll... Just wondering what your experiences were with being pregnant!
first trimester with both pregnancies was pretty rough due to morning sickness. but i LOVED the second trimester. especially feeling the baby kick for the first time, and then actually getting too see the baby kick. 3rd trimester i would rather forget, between the heartburn, hemmoriods and major headaches, i was counting the days to delivery.

Re: Poll... Just wondering what your experiences were with being pregnant!
The beginning was hard for me alot of MS, everything made me sick. and i was like im soo not meant to be pregnant. Then i was diagnosed with GD and wasnt happy, b/c I was soo looking forward to eating what i wanted and enjoying it all.. well that was shot down..
But now that its over.. I miss it.. I miss feeling her move around.. I cant wait to be Pregnant again.. Hopefully this time next year.. Keep my fingers crossed.

I loved being pregnant! The first trimester was a bit rough due to spotting & bed rest & I did get a little uncomfortable the last couple of weeks because I'm a tiny person & my belly was huuuuge. I can't wait to do it again though!

I truly loved being pregnant...not the very few first or last weeks but for the most part of my pregnancy I was very happy and felt great.

Re: Poll... Just wondering what your experiences were with being pregnant!
The 1st trimester was hell. HELL. I remember being so upset because I wanted to enjoy it, and the morning sickness was ungodly....
BUT - after it got better - closer to my 6th month, I LOVED every minute of it!

I actually LOVED being preggo (aside from the heartburn)
I really miss it sometimes...especially since we didnt find out the sex of the baby. It felt like a constant secret waiting to come out!!
also, I like that most people gave me a seat on the train

Re: Poll... Just wondering what your experiences were with being pregnant!
i LOVED feeling the baby inside me.
but i pretty much hated everything else about the experience. i expected it to be this beautiful stage in my life, but it ended up being miserable.
i will do it again, but now i view it as just a means to an end. getting the baby at the end makes it all worthwhile

I liked, borderline loved, being preggo...there were definitely difficult days...tired, cranky, hungry, fat!! But for the most part I had it easy and I enjoyed it. It would have been even better if it was only like 5 months instead of 9!!!

Re: Poll... Just wondering what your experiences were with being pregnant!
Physically I do not enjoy being pregnant. My first pregnancy I hated only because I was sick. Second pregnancy was an absolute nightmare that ended sadly. current pregnancy didn't start enjoying until week 14 and I am so grateful I can enjoy one pregnancy even though it' still difficult on me physically. Pregnancy is not easy, but it's certainly a beautiful blessing and i'm beyond grateful.

Re: Poll... Just wondering what your experiences were with being pregnant!
I loved most of it. I loved the feeling of her inside me and my DH's face when he could feel her kick. I loved being cute in brand spankin new maternity clothes. My skin and hair were looking good most days. I loved eating with no guilt.
I did not like when I was hardly eating because of m/s. I didn't like the week long migraine in the last week of my 1st tri. I didn't like waddling through Penn Sta. and my two subway stops during the last month. My belly grew out of my cute shirts around then too and I could only wear one pair of shoes because my feet were as big as Shrek's.
I can't wait to do it all again.

I loved being pg for the most part. The beginning was really tough because of the m/s and the end was tough because I was huge and it hurt to move. The middle was the best part!

Re: Poll... Just wondering what your experiences were with being pregnant!
I loved, loved, loved it! I only had 1 day of morning sickness....if you'd even call it that. I was on bedrest from 32 weeks and I still loved it. Having a little squirming being inside was the most wonderful experience. Can't wait for it again!!!

I had good days and bad days. Sometimes I miss it other times I am glad to (almost) be back to my old self. Hang in there - it's all worth it in the end

Horrible. I had too many symptoms and was basically miserable the entire time.

Re: Poll... Just wondering what your experiences were with being pregnant!
I had a great pregnancy - I never really had morning sickness or anything like that. just very tired....that was about it. I never got huge either so it was a nice experience for me, I got lucky I guess.

I was a nervous preggo.

Re: Poll... Just wondering what your experiences were with being pregnant!
I had the easiest pregnancies ever. Almost no morning sickness, weight gain wasn't too bad, etc. However I wasn't comfortable in my own skin and didn't like being pregnant at all.
Now that I'll never be pregnant again, one thing that really hits home is an excerpt from Erma Bombeck's "If I Had To Live My Life All Over Again"
"Instead of wishing away nine months of pregnancy, I'd have cherished every moment and realized that the wonderment growing inside me was the only chance in life to assist God in a miracle."
I wish I would have taken the time to enjoy it more, to take photographs, to sit back & relish in my belly instead of thinking I looked like a strange case of elephantiasis. It was something I missed out on & will never get back.
