LOVED it, LOVED it, LOVED it!!!Descriptive enough? Chat Icon

Some parts were tougher than others, but I really did cherish just about every moment of both of my pregnancies. I can't wait to do it again, but at the same time want to wait a nice long while--I know it will be my last so I don't want to rush through it.

Besides the 12 weeks on bed rest, 8 weeks of itching and being diagnosed with Cholestasis, I LOVED being pregnant. Chat Icon

had a really rough pregnancy, has m/s the whole 9 months- it was so bad, DH and i even considered stopping after we had our DS b/c we both didnt know if we could go through it again. However, i had an easy and quick delivery and now have a WONDERFUL little boy so i think i would be willing to take the chance (of another rough pregnancy) and TTC #2 in a couple years.

I had really terrible back pain and I was seeing a PT twice a week and a nutritionist once a week.

Other than being big as a house, miserable and in a terrible mood, with lots of pains, it was OKChat Icon

I can't say it was horrible, because thankfully the baby and I were both healthyChat Icon

My first pregnancy was ideal: no morning sickness, very rarely tired, didn't show until very late in pregnancy, no medical complications (except for spotting during the first tri) BUT yet I didn't enjoy being pregnant at all. Mainly because I'm vain. Chat Icon

My current pregnancy has been pretty smooth too, but again, I'm not enjoying it at all for the same reasons. I find myself counting down the days until I get my bod back. Chat Icon

I absolutely loved being pregnant. I truly did not have a rough time at all, barely no M/S just feeling nauseous and then at the end just feeling anxious to have the baby. I can't wait to be pregnant again.

I enjoyed it. I was hardly sick and I LOVED feeling every move he made and my goodness DS was a "kicker".

I had a very bad experience, I had m/s for the first 5 months, In my fourth month I had to have surgery to have a cerclage put in and was on strict bed rest until 35 Weeks, went to 4 Dr's a week and was in the hospital hooked up to an IV every other week for an overnight stay, to do a fetalfibronectin (sp) test, and was given horrible medicine to stop the contractions, but other then that I loved when she moved, kicked and I loved seeing her in the sonos.. The only bad part about delivery was that the cord was wrapped around her neck I had to wait until after she got out NICU to see her..

Re: Poll... Just wondering what your experiences were with being pregnant!

My Pregnancy was horrid. I enjoyed the last few weeks of it believe it or not but that was it. There were a few times I honestly cried that it wasnt worth it ( but Now I know it WAS). I was very very sick through most of it, on an IV infusion pump for over 4 months and was just plain sick.

So I wish I could have enjoyed it, but now its all worth it and I dont regret any of it and its just what I had to do to get my angel here.

I loved every single minute of it and I can't wait to be pregnant again. I thew up every single day but after a few weeks it wasn't a big deal.

I would say that I had a fantastic pregnancy and I never complained, but my husband and work colleagues might think differently...

I don't think I have strong feelings either way. I guess I have to say I didn't mind being PG. As another poster said, there were difficult days, and there were easy days where I just felt like I was glowing. The last few weeks for me were excrutiating, but I'd still do it again.

Gotta say I loved being pregnant w/ my first.

The second (twins) my first trimester was horrible. I was sick 24/7. But, once that was over I was thrilled to be pregnant.

i had a rough last pregnancy.. my placenta started to break away from the wall at 25 weeks and i was bleeding for a few weeks .. the threat of delivery was very real.. then i started contracting at 28 weeks and ended up on terbutaline.. i continued to contract throughout the rest of the pregnancy and delivered at 35 weeks..

Re: Poll... Just wondering what your experiences were with being pregnant!

Looking back on my pregnancy I would say it was not so bad, but then I remember something about it specifically and I shudder.

I had a rougt pregnancy...especially my 1st and last trimester, plus i was high-risk so I never felt "comfortable" that everthing was going to be okay.

The exhaustion in my first trimester was brutal. There were days I could not function because of it. My 2nd trimester was really the only time I enjoyed because by the time i got to my third I was HUGE and really uncomfortable and had to pee about every 15 minutes with extreme pressure down there.

I do believe we forget all these things though when we see our children because I honestly can say I look forward to being pregnant again (if we ever decided to have more).
