Re: POLL: who pays for the flower girl dress UPDATED
BRide and Groom paid - I dont see why the parents should have to pay - its not like you can have her wear the dress again unless its a plain white dress. I dont get the idea of the parents having to pay for something they did not request do you know what I mean? Then again I think the bride should pay for bridesmaids dresses too so who am I to talk

Ebay or Burlington. Burlington has a lot of pretty Cinderella brand dresses for around $19.99.

need to see the answers....will update when i get some answers!
UPDATE ok so i guess i need to change my POV on things. i ALWAYS thought that the bride and groom paid of the flower girl dress and ring bearer tux, we did for my wedding, just thought that was the norm!
DH sister is getting married in July, backyard ceremony with about 30ppl invited.
i guess with my way of thinking i thought they would pay for the dress since she talked of either having MIL make it or go to one of the most expensive stores where i live to get one.
DH is laid off, we dont have a ton of extra money laying around.
So i guess i need your help ladies, keep in mind im not in the US so websites would be great so i can see if they ship here...i need a CHEAP white sundress 12-18 months...not too casual but not too fancy...also white shoes in size 3-4....anyone find anything for me to look into? I will email SIL with what i find if the price is right and see what she thinks!
ebay!! That's where I got both outfits and they were perfect. The shoes I would most likely just buy in a shoe store for kids...there are too many variables in sizes. Good luck!!

thanks ladys! i did look on ebay and found one that was the right size and not too fussy for an outdoor wedding...also found one similar to the one posted for Target at Carters...we will see!
shoes will be the hardest part i have a feeling DD is 16 months but still fits a size 3 shoe with room in the width of some of them

You can get some cute little patent ones at Walmart with a bow. They are near the socks hanging on the racks. They are like $5.99. My DD wore similar ones last year for my sister's wedding.

Check out Target - they had a few around Easter time and I've seen them since. They also have cute shoes sometimes. I got DD's FG shoes there a few months ago - they were ivory though.

I say the parents of the flowergirl should pay for the dress.
