Pool Party For Birthday In January?
Do you think people would come? Obviously it would be indoors.

Yes, I think people would welcome the chance to heat up in some warm water and a steamy room!
Sounds fun!

Re: Pool Party For Birthday In January?
When I worked at Saf-T-Swim there were always adults (and kids) so excited to be at a pool party in the winter. I'll never forget their faces.

Re: Pool Party For Birthday In January?
Okay good, I was thinking people might be annoyed to have to drag out bathing suits in the winter
Kelly..do you remember how much the party is there? I called but they are closed.

The only thing is some kids may not come. I just realize some kids may have outgrown their bathing suit from the summer and the parents will not find one in the store or want to bother.
But I still like the idea though.

Re: Pool Party For Birthday In January?
It's okay if some don't come, since I have to invite the WHOLE class or no one
But yeah, that's what I was thinking about the bathing suits

Is this Nicholas' golden birthday? Do you need to put in a pool then?

Re: Pool Party For Birthday In January?
Holtsville YMCA has the best price and they have a room to do pizza and stuff in. Holiday Inn express is not that bad either but more expensive. The Hampton inn on the expressway was over the top price wise.

IIRC the YMCA doesn't allow swimmies though do they?
The Hampton Inn is way overpriced..almost $500

Re: Pool Party For Birthday In January?
No, no swimmies, as far as i remember, they have that bubble thing for their back, i think. I believe they told me if they can not swim alone than a parent must go in. The holiday Inn Express is fairly priced but I can't remember their rules.

I think it's a good idea and a nice change of pace for the parents whose kids don't swim all year.

The kids will love to have a pool party in the winter!!!! I'd say go for it!!!!
My neighbor had her sons there last February and it was $325 for 25kids...
